Paragon Pools was born from a simple belief — that the best memories happen when people gather together. We're a Southern Utah pool builder with a family's heart and an operator's discipline.
Del Tanner didn't come to pool building by accident. He came to it by way of a 25-year career leading companies — organizations with over $100 million in annual revenue, thousands of employees, and client rosters that included some of the most demanding brands in the world. When a Fortune 500 company expects perfection, you learn what accountability actually means. Del carried that standard through every role he held.
But the corporate road came with a cost. Years of travel and time away from family eventually made the math simple: it was time to build something closer to home — something with his hands in it, not just his name on the org chart.
Water has been a constant — growing up in the Phoenix area meant most of his summers were spent in the pool or out at the lake, and that connection to the outdoors never faded. It shaped a deep appreciation for what a well-designed space can do for how people live.
Paragon Pools is where all of that converges. Del brings an operator's discipline — the systems thinking, the process rigor, the refusal to cut corners — to an industry that doesn't always demand it. Every project is managed with the same precision he applied when the stakes were nine figures and the clients wouldn't accept anything less.
Based in St. George, Utah, Del founded Paragon Pools to do one thing exceptionally well: design and build outdoor environments for people who expect more. Not more flash. More craft. More thought. More follow-through.
